It's cold outside!

Desires to tuck in, slow down, and get cozy can be at an all time high.

What would happen if you indulged in those desires, even in the midst of the busy-ness of life?

Would it be okay?  Would everything fall apart?

Could it help? Might it recharge your batteries and set you standing afresh?

Let's tap ...

Take a deep breath and Tap as follows:


Tap on the side of your hand:

It's winter. Part of me wants to hibernate.

Even though I have plenty to do, I'm going to tap for a few minutes to help my body, mind, and soul relax.

I choose to calm my nervous system and take in the peaceful hibernating energy of winter.



Eyebrow: Winter.

Side of the eye:  Brrr...

Under the eye: Warm blankets.

Under the nose:  A cozy, comfortable space.

Under mouth:  S-l-o-w-i-n-g down.

Collarbone: A deep breath. (take a deep breath)

Under the arm:  Bright sun.

Top of the head:  Silence.

Eyebrow: Time.

Side of the eye: In this moment, I have all the time in the world.

Under the eye: Stillness.

Under the nose: Peace.

Under the mouth: I am breathing.

Collarbone:  In.

Under the arm:  Out.

Top of head: Air.

Eyebrow: Quiet.

Side of the eye: Letting the world be unto itself.

Under the eye:  I allow my body to relax.

Under the nose:  I choose to s-t-o-p.

Under the mouth: I see (name three things you see)

Collarbone: I am here.

Under the arm: Calm.

Top of head: BEing gets to be easy right now.

Eyebrow:  (take a deep breath)

Side of the eye: BEing gets to be peaceful right now.

Under the eye: (take a deep breath)

Under the nose: BEing gets to be deeply honored and appreciated right now.

Under the mouth: (take a deep breath)

Collarbone: I am grateful.

Under the arm: Thank you for winter.

Top of head: Thank you for the invitation to take a slower pace.

Eyebrow: Thank you for the reminder of seasons in life.

Side of the eye: Thank you for cozy places.

Under the eye: Thank you for love.

Under the nose: Thank you that I am safe.

Under the mouth: Ahh, winter.

Collarbone: Beauty, wonder, restoration.

 

Take a deep breath.
